At both schools, students who do not qualify for the Gifted Program, may still be included in direct instruction. If a student has demonstrated the potential to be successful in math/reading they may be placed in the gifted class. These placements are reevaluated every six weeks to ensure that the student is learning at his/her best rate.

All students are required to have a 2 - 2 1/2 inch binder.
The binder is to have dividers for each subject in the order the student has that subject during the school day.
There is to be only one sprial notebook in the binder to serve as a math notebook.
The binder is to have a pencil bag with two pencils, two pens, a highlighter and a pencil sharpener (if mechanical pencils are use then extra leads need to in the bag as well).
The daily assignment planner is to be present in the binder.
The daily planner is signed each day by myself to ensure that the proper assignment for the day has been entered.
Daily planners are checked daily for parent signature.
